Conservation
Working with English Heritage on many occasions to listed properties, and frequently adopting traditional methods of conservation & restoration, Bramber have a wide range of skills in this specialist sector from roof replacements to chalk block and flint walls.
Demolitions
Demolition on either large scale industrial to small domestic projects is as important as building new. Treated with the same considered care, planning and preparation as we would the construction of something new, demolition features in nearly all our projects to make way for the construction phase.
Design and build
Either for our own developments or for our clients, design and build packages using local designers have always proved mutually successful. With focus more recently on a desire by registered social landlords to participate in the development sector our expertise has offered each client great opportunity. Energy efficiency works
Bramber have always built sustainably, offering the best materials for the price the client can afford to significantly improve insulation and drive down energy bills. Recent works within the green initiative had us fitting solar panel systems, and replacing heating systems supported by subsidised grants. We have also participated in simple initiatives to ensure when working on existing properties, particularly homes, that where opportunity arose we made a difference. This could include insulating the space under the bath, or using thermal imaging equipment to recognise failures and simply adjusting doors and windows to fit – simple fixes making significant savings!
Extensions
Extensions are often considered to be only an extension of the family home – not at Bramber. We have extended factories, schools, hospitals, libraries, sports facilities, museums, shops, pubs, hotels, surgeries, to name just a few. Of course, we have also extended quite a few houses as well!

Insurance Works
Complete rebuilds of major industrial units following a devastating fire, to domestic floods following burst pipes, and pulling cars out of shop fronts, Bramber have literally seen and rebuilt them all. With insurance companies often approaching us direct or clients sometimes with a professional team contacting us we understand the need to work closely with the insured to overcome what is frequently the catastrophe that has led to the work.
Landscaping
Frequently part of a larger construction package but also independent of any other works Bramber are equipped to carry out all aspects of landscaping. From the hard landscaping of patios, fencing, driveways and decking to the soft landscaping of lawns and planted trees & plants we can carry out all aspects.
Maintenance: planned, preventative and reactive
Carrying out emergency or reactive maintenance for partnering clients Bramber call upon its in-house management and technical staff to complete these works offering a wealth of practical experience to find the on-site solution and keep costs for the client to the minimum. Pre-agreed rates for each trade and a practical method of reporting faults has allowed our teams to deliver this service for our clients for many years, featuring in some cases 24-hour cover when economically viable for our clients.
New builds
Featuring heavily in our portfolio of works, either for our clients or as part of a Bramber venture, we have built many beautiful new build homes. From townhouses, flats, and small family homes, to vast detached luxury properties they have all figured over the years. Frequently backed by NHBC or similar and to the highest standards Bramber are known locally for the quality of their “Bramber Homes”.

A large proportion our work is frequently partnering with clients both existing and new to deliver their vision in a truly collaborative arena. Open-book policies and trust are key to the spirit of partnering with our clients, and by doing so removes the need to price for the unknown construction costs placed on building proposals at concept stage. This ensures clients only pay for what they wanted and get, offering Bramber and its supply chain a pre-agreed margin of overhead & profit for the project delivery.
