Boomerang Kids employed Bramber to construct a large new building at their existing facility, significantly increasing their teaching, welfare, and play areas.
Emphasis on continuing the look of the existing barn within the new construction was of the highest priority and second only to ensuring the safety of its children, teachers and visitors during the construction phase.
Simultaneous refurbishment of the existing building whilst constructing the new barn helped to make this already great school even better, utilising local craftspeople to undertake the works, including (amongst others) the installation of purpose made joinery, oak cladding, and handmade peg tile roof.
Internally, modern facilities contrasted with its external façade including new kitchen, toilet facilities and teaching areas.
Works were also carried out to the curtilage, as well as repairing the retained flint walls, we installed new early years play equipment, landscaped the grounds, and fitted new child-friendly fencing.
